Dr. R. Regina Cline has earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology. After working with diverse populations, including many immigrant families, she founded Embracing Diversity, Inc., a 501(c)3 created to serve the immigrant community.
In operating the nonprofit, nonprofit management and leadership became a passion, and cross-sectoral collaboration became a curiosity. Regina enrolled in the Public Affairs/Public and Nonprofit Management (PNM) program at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD).
While in this program, Regina taught “Diversity in the Public Sector” and “Managing Nonprofit Organizations” both in person and online. Her classes are fraught with topics surrounding DEIJ, like intersectionality, bias, culture, leadership, and equitable representation. She is also currently a faculty member at Texas Woman’s University and has also been on the faculty of the Gatson Group’s Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) program.
Regina is a community organizer, nonprofit expert, leadership trainer. She served as the President of UTD’s Association of Fundraising Professional (AFP) chapter. She currently also works as an affiliate at the Nonprofit Group, an organization focused on capacity building and capital campaigning for nonprofits.
